About Disposable Boot Covers

When the wet reaches above the ankle, a shoe cover is not enough. Disposable boot covers extend waterproof protection up the lower leg — the level of coverage that slaughterhouses, seafood plants and heavy washdown areas actually need. Ours are made from durable polyethylene in 80 micron thickness, a heavy gauge for demanding wet areas where tear resistance matters most.

A double rubber elastic top holds the cover firmly around the calf so it stays up through a full shift instead of sliding down, and the fits-all-sizes cut means one specification covers every operator on the floor. An anti-slip sole is available as an option for the wet tile and drainage floors these are built for, and the tear-resistant material stands up to the rougher handling of an industrial meat or fish operation without splitting.

When should I use boot covers instead of shoe covers?

Boot covers extend up the lower leg, so they are used where protection needs to reach above the ankle — wet processing floors, wash-down areas, and zones with standing water or heavy spray. Shoe covers only cover the foot, so in genuinely wet meat, poultry and seafood areas a boot cover gives the coverage a shoe cover cannot.

What thickness are your disposable boot covers?

Our boot covers are made from 80 micron polyethylene, a heavy gauge suited to demanding wet-floor and wash-down use. They are supplied on a roll, 250 pieces per box.

Are the boot covers waterproof, and is an anti-slip option available?
